In 2003 the Isle of Man Government launched an initiative called Freedom to Flourish, a strategy approved by Tynwald to promote, protect and improve the Isle of Man. Essentially a strategy to enhance the Island's national identity at home and abroad it's foundation is rooted in the promise shown to the right and summed up by the phrase "Giving Our Island the Freedom to Flourish".
